iDrone
Drone surveys and aerial treatments for agriculture
Drone surveys and aerial photogrammetric data processing!
With years of experience in the field, we can generate accurate vigor maps, water stress maps and 3D models of your crops to create zoning maps and optimize field operations, reducing waste and time.
The drone as a powerful precision agriculture tool
iDrone is Agrobit’s drone service that returns a comprehensive map of the health of your crops: vegetative vigor, water stress, plant counts, plant failures, leaf abnormalities, diseased plant and weed detection. Data are processed in no time and delivered in georeferenced format, ready to support agronomic decisions. From single experimental plots to districts of hundreds of hectares, the service adapts to any scale of operation, with ENAC-certified pilots active throughout the country.
Surveys are carried out with RGB, multispectral and thermal drones, generating maps of vigor (NDVI, NDRE, OSAVI, TCARI, GNDVI vegetation indices), water stress (CWSI vegetation index), plant counts and failures, 3D models (digital twin) and prescription maps.
iDrone does not stop at data acquisition and crop monitoring. With sprayer drones and valuable partnerships across the country, Agrobit offers liquid, granular, powder, foliar fertilizer and beneficial insect distribution service for biological control.
A complete workflow with a single source: surveys, analysis, prescription, distribution.
How does it work?
- Request and possible preliminary inspection: Cond share coordinates or send us details of your plots. The Agrobit team plans the optimal flight plan based on crop, season, and survey objective (vigor maps, water stress maps, plant counts and failures, aerial treatments).
- Flight mission: ENAC-certified pilots reach the field and complete the flight with RGB, multispectral and thermal drones depending on the type of analysis required. For areas of less than 10 hectares, the flight generally takes a few minutes.
- Data processing: The acquired images are processed with professional photogrammetric software and proprietary algorithms for soil, weed and inter-row removal. Orthomosaics, vegetation indices, 3D models and georeferenced thematic maps (vigor zoning) are generated.
- Delivery of results within a few days: Receive maps in GIS format (GeoTIFF, shapefile) and an agronomic report with data interpretation. Files are compatible with major onboard terminals and agricultural management software.
- Agronomic decision support: The Agrobit team is available to analyze results and help technicians translate maps into concrete actions. Differentiated fertilization map, zoning for selective harvesting, identification of priority plots for treatment.
